This morning we had our “Sensational Sydney” City Tour. We got on buses and started the tour at the Sydney Opera House where we got tours of all the various theaters. At the end of the tour we had mimosas and were serenaded by one of the opera singers in a room that overlooked Sydney Harbor. The building really is an incredible piece of architecture, and far more impressive seeing it close up. Following the tour we got back on the buses and stopped at various spots in Sydney to take pictures, including Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair (one of the best vantage points in Sydney), Royal Botanic Gardens, Double Bay, and finally the famous Bondi Beach (pronounced Bond-eye), where we had had lunch. Tina and I ventured out across the sand to test the water. Needless to say, it was pretty cold. It was a great tour and we got to see so much of the city.
